Dario Pegoretti bicycles have been selected for inclusion in a forthcoming exhibition at the Museum of Arts and Design in Manhattan.

The exhibition, "Bespoke: The Handbuilt Bicycle", will begin on May 12th. No end date is currently listed, only "ongoing". From the Museum of Arts and Design website:

"Bespoke: The Handbuilt Bicycle displays the designs of six internationally renowned bicycle builders whose work in metal, as well as graphics and artifacts, elucidate this refined, intricate and deeply individual craft. Organized by Michael Maharam, owner of the eponymous textile company and an avid bicycle collector, along with master builder Sacha White of Vanilla Bicycles in Portland, Oregon, this survey is presented as part of the MADProjects exhibition series, which explores emerging trends and innovations in the design world.

Pegs frames are art, There is more to them then tubes and geometery. I would love to see the show or better visit Dario in person.

I must admit that I didn't really appreciate his work
until I saw them at the show.
They really are fine art. Breathtaking, actually
Dario was very friendly too

Riding is believing. Seeing ain't so bad either. His offerings were possibly his best to date. All were winners.
