I just scored a sweet used Orbea cyclocross frame with a Wound Up fork. I want to build this up as a winter bike for riding on snow, slush and slop. I'd like to solicit your suggestions for wheel considerations. I'm looking for durability and stability on widish tires (28+??). If anyone has any appropriate used Campy-compatable wheels they want to clear out, I'd be interested. Thanks in advance for your input.

Try to get some Mavic rims w/ceramic coating and build them using campy hubs.

My cross wheels are Ultegra hubs on Open Pro rims.

The are great.

you don't need super strong wheels for cyclo-cross. the big fat tires do alot to protect the wheel....doesn't really matter. get something cheap.
