No way.. that is cool.

I saw a Lynskey that they painted to look like bamboo that was sweet also.

Gonna give people the wrong idea though cause it doesn't ride like wood.

Are the rims also done in the wood grain motif or are they just painted a solid color?

. . . but it was obviously conceived to get noticed and get publicity for the company at the show. No doubt it will succeed, nd no doubt they will get plenty of offers to buy it.

It's kind of a shame it is paint. Real wood veneer could have been used to replace the cosmetic woven layer used on most carbon bikes and have been (kinda) structural as well as the real thing.

I think it looks great, and I suspect it rides better than any wood bike can (yet) match.

If you can keep the termites and woodpeckers away from it I think it could be a real keeper. I also think wood rims might be a lot faster than alloy. :)

not to be jumping on the hate wagon, but it doesn't do much for me either...

partly because I have a pathological dislike of the color brown and think Brooks saddles are fugly.

Rims are really wooden rims.

Wood paint was really pretty amazing, given it was done by hand by a master airbrush artist and looks so convincing.
