Just received the pegoretti and will have it built this weekend. It came with the edge composite 2.0 fork which is all carbon including the dropouts...any issues with this fork?

Probably not. Edge is a good company..fork is pretty new..now one of the few in the market since Reynolds and Alfa Q have pulled the plug. Ritchey is nice, Profile, no mas either.

The only issue is it's the best carbon fork today IMO.. Although I went steel on my Peg. You will love it.

How about Easton? Or is that not 100% carbon?

I have had the Easton, Reynolds and Edge 2.0.
Edge is by far the best fork I have owned. Very strong (much stronger then the Easton) it tracks great and no break shuddering. Finish is perhaps not as slick as the others but keep in mind that the whole thing is one piece. All the others are assembled parts. Dropouts are very solid and will give no issues. Enjoy

I agree with rusty on the finish.. Have it painted to match... I think the 1.0 is nicer looking but not worth the up charge from the 2.0..

Edge is pretty much widely regarded as the best fork being made today. They make the tubing for Parlee among others. Rest assured; it is a quality fork.

When I was spec'ing this custom Kish, I originally intended to get an Alpha Q cross fork. Jim said he was recommending Edge forks for his builds - excellent quality. I only got this bike last week but no problems with brake shudder - seems very solid.

I've had them all too, and I like my Edge 1.0. The only one that comes close is the Reynolds which is a bit heavier, but has a nicer finish in my opinion. I think the Edge is stiffer than the Reynolds, though.

In sum, you're getting a really great fork.

I have a edge 2.0 on my Peg love #3 and it tracks so well. Similar to the Serotta F1 but a pound an a half lighter. I don't think you need to worrie about the carbon dropouts. Its been done for awhile by out brands.
