I love this bike. I would change a few components, but I definitely want one of these. But, I too cannot afford it. Someday, the monstercross will be mine.

a friend sent me that and i was definitely intrigued.

interesting geo though: 72/74 but then very long slopey TT and disc/135 spacing.... not suspension corrected either.

anyone have experience w/ these?

2AM: most monster-x are not suspension corrected. They are built around rigid forks. Some of the drop-bar 29ers, however, do have suspension corrected geometries. As for the angles, they are a bit odd.

As for the 135mm/disc, for me, it has been a question of just how monster I would like my monster-x to be. If I just want 1.8" and below, I have gone with more of the traditional cyclocross numbers and 130mm/cantis. However, on my drop-bar 29er, I wanted to run full 29er tires and wheels. As such, 135mm/disc was the clear winner.
