Has anyone ever done business with The Old Bike Shop in Hermosa California. As far as I can tell they seem like a fine shop. I can get a great Price on a DeRosa Neo Primato or a Colnago Master X light. It's a really good price. Not too good to be true price but not too far off either

Any opinions on which you prefer and why would be great.

Thx
Peter

I've spoken to the owner by phone and he seems straight up.
You might want to look up the De Rosas and Colnagos on GVH Bikes. They're about the same price and he's very used to shipping.

I live not to far from there and have tried to go by several times but they're closed on Sundays. Have heard good things from other locals but never purchased there myself. They do have quite a few classic steel frames hanging from the rafters.

What prices are they offering on those framesets?

The 2010 Colnago Master light $1799 Frame and Steel Fork. 2010 Neo Primato $1895 Frame and Steel Fork. Only on in stock frames. Regular prices are on the site. Free US shipping. I have not nailed this down. As soon as I get a soild quote I will post it if that's allowed. Right now I have emails with the basic numbers. Links are below.

Thx for the help.

Ive gone in there on more than one occasion when I was out on a ride and needed some small "stuff"...

I was always treated very well, they seemed to know their "stuff" and I never got TOO much of a feeling of being ripped off (like I feel about most bike stores in Los Angeles).

Good luck!
