I'm heading to San Diego on Sunday and want to bring a travel bike but putting it all in the case with some other stuff it seems awefully tight. If I take the wheels out, I'd feel much better about the 3 legs and cross country trip it has to endure.

Are there any San Diego folks who would be willing to rent me (cheaply) :D a pair of decent shimano-compatible wheels to use for the week? Nothing fancy, just light enough for climbing performance. I weigh 155.

I'd even consider buying a used pair that someone wants to let go of and then ship them home. $200-300 tops is all I'd want to spend.

PM or email please. I would prefer to pick them up Sunday night or Monday morning

thx
Sean

Sweet! Proving once again that the crew at Velo Cult is second to none!

No relation, just trying to give credit where it's due.

Very cool, I'll definitely swing by your shop while in town. Don't recall you being there when I lived there from 99-03?
