Can $99 cogs be far behind?

I've been seeing more and more of the messenger styled riders here in Seattle, but I think the fact that downtown Seattle is a bit hillier has kept the number down relative to Portland. I still don't see very many greys on fixed around here so hopefully it won't break into fad status anytime soon.
