I see the Ultremo is available in 700x28c size now.

I've been using Michelin Pro2 25's which are 27's on my rims and are pretty nice -no flats after 800 miles. I had Challenge PR 27's which were fantastic but wore very fast and flatted like crazy. I've heard the Michelin Pro 3's are flat prone and wear fast.

Anyone tried the Ultremo's how do they compare? Always looking for nice 28c or fat 25 clinchers.

I've got more then 800 miles on a set of the Ultremo R.1 28's. Great ride, great handling, light weight and no flats yet. I took them off to see how they were holding up and found a few small cuts in the tread probably from glass shards but whatever cut the tread never made it through to the tube. It seems whatever Schwalbe has done to improve puncture resistance is working. Looks like I have plenty of rubber left, so wear seems good for a racing tire.
