You see, that's the whole problem....if they think it's fun to mess with a Cape Cobra, a front wheel is nothing to them. :crap:

William ;) :)

PS: It should be noted that you don't see any fat squirrels there....

Anyone try attaching razor blades to the front wheel spokes? I guess if the razor blades were made of Ti, it would minimize the weight penalty. ;)

Finally, a compelling reason to pick up a pair of Rev-X Spinergies.

A Tri store in Santa Monica (Triathlete Zombies, I think) used to refer to them as Rabbit-Choppers. If they'd work on a rabbit, a squirrel should be well within the design spec.

I like how you think! :cool:

The Flaming Squirrel

* 3 oz Canadian whiskey
* 1 oz Frangelico hazelnut liqueur
* 2 dashes orange bitters
* 2 dashes Angostura bitters
* overproof rum and orange peel for garnish

Combine whiskey (for fuzzy warmth), Frangelico (for general nuttiness) and bitters (for the tragedy of existence, &c.) in a rocks glass. Stir. Dip a wide slice of orange zest in overproof rum. Ignite over glass–when you burn your fingers, don’t come crying to me. Drop flaming zest into glass; garnish appropriately–orange peel squirrel tail charred under the broiler, mine.

So that's what was going on yesterday...it was squirrel appreciation day. I guess Mr. Squirrel thought I should stop for him when he wanted to cross the street on his special day.

There he was, hiding in the bushes right next to the road...just waiting for me to get close. Then at the last minute, he runs out from under the bush heading straight for my front wheel...forcing me to slam on my brakes to avoid a collision. But he stops right before impact and runs back the other way...to all his cheering friends.

You better be careful Mr. Squirrel, I'll be looking for you again. And if you try to pull another fast one like that, I might have to make all your little friends that live around my house pay for your actions.

Dear Mr. Squirrel:

You are most cordially invited! Will leave a light on for you and a front wheel on porch.

Here's a web site devoted to the subject:
http://www.backwoodsbound.com/zsquir.html literally dozens of receipes.

Here's an example:

Why in the world would you want to eat a rat with a furry tail?

(No offense, Mr. S, I'm just trying to keep you off the dinner table.)
