Works with old school cycling shoes too!

Can you tell I am bored?

Good find. I went through this last month with a pair of shoes that would always come loose; I thought it was the laces. I located a different site and for me the first step was the most important - make sure you loop left over right and the knot stays tight.

Thanks Mike. As an aside, I lace my shoes like this. Gets them nice and snug and they stay tight throughout the run.

Take a couple of days to get used to tying this way

You will be glad you did.

Neat trick!

I tie lots of knots (rope is part 'o my job...) and like any short cut that you can do without looking. Thanks for the tip!

I have a neat flip trick to tie a bowline in one motion... no chasing rabbits around trees and down holes... I digress...

I have always tied my shoes correctly, but just thought this link would help some hapless 'sole'
