That's funny. There's so much damn money at stake - I'll bet they come to terms. They have to build up the hype some more.

I really enjoy boxing as an activity and sport (boxed a little in college) , but the management of the sport has been awful. The various governing bodies, weight classes, long breaks between fights, fighters not being matched up well...all these things have helped to bring down boxing. MMA is not better, not more fun to watch and it is not as exciting as is marketed. It picked up on the errors in the sport of boxing (some of the ones mentioned above) and the public responded.

Anyway, the Mayweather : Manny fight wouldn't have taken place until next year anyway, so who knows what will happen. Both fighters have schedule powder puffs for the same date, so the fight should happen.
