Something pretty rare happened last week: A mass snow ball fight spontaneously erupted in Times Square.

A similar thing happened in DC the week before
and a over reacting cop apparently started waving his gun around.

Call me a cynic, but my guess is that the snowball fight was organized as a flashmob.

From the article, "According to an eyewitness, a D.C. Police detective (pictured above w/ gun) went nuts after kids pelted his Hummer with snowballs..."

I really hope that was a vehicle seized from drug dealers or something used for undercover work.
