Thanks for posting. The guy says that Rohloff does only design and assembly. All parts manufacturing is by contractors, so Rohloff performs extensive QC on delivered components. The first machine shown is a 3D measurement device and it takes 10 minutes to scan an axle.

The technical director at the end says they have sold over 110,000 internal gear hubs, which is a lot more than I would have thought.

You guys can crack jokes all you want, but I never cease to marvel at how perfectly suited German is for mechanical engineering (and how poorly for some other things).
