Anyone else find the quality of some of these sucks big time? I have the DVD versions of 89 and 90 TDF's, and neither of them will play all the way through without freezing or bouncing back to the start, same for the 2004 TDF DVD, and I've tried two of those. Each were tried in two different DVD players.
Also have the '04 Flanders DVD. "DVD 1 of 2" is acually #2, and "DVD 2 of 2" is actually #1..... :crap:

I got the Lemond seires for Christmas, years 86, 89 and 90 and all three worked fine.
Did watching them inspire you to get out on your bike in the frozen granite state?

Thanks for the replies. I'm gonna get one of my co-workers to try them in his $$ Denon DVD player. Maybe its the Sony players I've tried.

Did they motivate me? Well maybe they would have if they'd play!! :)

I had problems with the '04 Giro's #2 DVD on my player, but last night at a friend's house it worked fine on his DVD player. Go cheap, get cheated. Now I'm looking at 3-figure DVD players/recorders w/ VCR to get rid of a closet-door full of cassettes.

For a while they were nothing more than gross advertisements for colnago bicycles. My brother and I would just laugh out loud as Phil and Paul pointed out every colnago in the peloton...
I even wrote a letter to Cyclesport magazine (the parent company) to ridicule them, of course they never published it!
