I'm loving the new oversize carbon bars I just put on my Legend but there is no way to mount a cycling computer on them. The Winwood bars (Stella Azzura clone) are flat and swollen way beyond the 31mm diameter on either side of the stem. I tried a Wintec stem mount but because I have 17 degrees of rise, the readout is tilted and unreadable unless I sit up and lean back.

I'm looking for a wireless computer that can mount to a really wide flat bar. Any ideas? Don't need a lot of bells and whistles just basic data. It would also be nice if the speed sensor on the fork was substantial and not one affixed with only tie wraps that moves around a lot.

Thanks.

I have a vetta v-100 (or some model # close to that) that comes in wireless (available from performance) and it attaches with zip ties. Therefore, it can mount to any shape bar. :D

I have the Campy Ergobrain mounted on my Winwood bars on my Fondriest. It is mounted with zip ties. Seems to work very well.

Good luck,

Steve

Try and Atomic Mount - http://www.atomicmount.com/

I use one for a polar 710 - just remove the straps and use the pins to connect to the automic mount - works great on the stem.

I've never used this, but I have seen a couple of bikes set up with it. Good luck!
