Serotta frames are made without a replaceable hanger, which could be an issue in a crash or rear derailleur incident, and therefore there is the Peace of Mind Crash Protection Program to cover such misfortunes.

I have also invested in an SRP Wreck Defier bolt for my Legend CX frame to avoid tears. It is well made. I recommend it to the forum;

I used the breakaway bolts back in the day on my bridgestone. I think I actually only used it once.... but it worked.
