Always wanted to try one. Got one. This is the same tubeset as Pocket Rocket Pro but built for 406 wheels and Vbrakes. About 20 lbs. B17 Ti, fat slick tires, custom riser to get the bars right where I want. Lighweight Vbrakes, 9-26 Capreo cassette, XTR hubs, double butted spokes, DA triple front etc. A ball to ride, little wheels run up to speed quickly but seem to need the constant motor input to stay at speeed compared to 700c.

Did 45 miles a couple of days ago and it is dialed in like my fav real bike and rides just like one. Have about a year to get ready for a tour of S Canada down into Glacier National Park, credit card, not loaded, thank god.

Very cool!

You can play around with the 5 biggest cogs on the 9-26 cogset and replace them with either nicer cogs and/or smaller ones, if necessary. The 9-10-11 have to stay, and maybe the 12 (I have to look at mine), but the rest are easily replaced. My upgraded Pocket Rocket has a 9 speed 18-9 cogset. I replaced the bigger cogs with SRAM and Shimano cogs, so I could get 18, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10 and 9. If you're not doing loaded touring, that 26 coupled with 406 wheels might be really small.
