Hey all-- I'm on my a$$ for a couple days after some (minor) surgery, and as such, my standards for entertainment will be even lower than usual. Any body have a web site or two that they're willing to admit enjoying that might get me off my normal surfing flow?

Thanks, Chris

If you've never been to www.digg.com it will keep you busy for a bit.

Read some of the better tour journals at www.crazyguyonabike.com.

Start with Peter Gostelow's epic journey.

In case these are not part of your normal flow, I like RoadBikeRider.com, MTBR.com, BikeForums.net, RoadBikeReview.com, and TestRider.com.

RoadBikeRider.com is the only website that I have paid a membership fee. On the others I endure the advertisements and do not pay. The advertisements are not popups and sometimes of interest, so I don't see any advantage to a paid membership on the other sites.

My wife was trying to find some gift ideas and since Dick's sporting goods is big here - she went to Dicks.com. (no I do not recommend you go there and it did provide some laughs)

Thanks, all.

The day on the couch has successfully passed, with DVR, reading, and much surfing. Took me 9 hours to figure out that Redtube had nothing to do with riding (bicycles).

Keep them coming, all topics welcome!

i can easily lose myself for a few hours looking for music videos and especially live performances for bands/artists that i like on youtube. there's also always some bike race clip on youtube that i haven't seen.

if you are a netflix member there's the "watch instantly" option on. i have been sidelined with a serious achilles tendon rupture and i've gone through all 5 seasons of "the office".

http://www.bikepacking.net/ - A very Pugsly friendly site.
http://hnn.us/ Interesting, though often biased, articles and excellent oddball stories in the Breaking News section.
