It'd be pretty much zero maintenance if they'd lose that suspension fork. Of course you'd need a bigger rear wheel to get a reasonable gear, so then we're back to the pennyfarthing.

More like the farthing-penny, based on the arrangement of the wheels there, which would seem to me to be even more terrifying to ride. :)

Needs some aero bars. I hear Cadel Evens has one of these bikes on order for use in the 2010 TDF. Comes with a dog carrier mounted on the back. :beer:
