Rich this is very nice.

Now, you have more carbon than titanium or other metals combined on this bike, right? :)

Carbon is definitely the primary material.

. . . Rich. Did you get the decals to match the wheel decals deliberately?

How do you like the Zipp wheels? I have looked at them lustfully for the Queen Bee!

Thanks Dave!

I went with the red decals to match the details parts I was going with... little details like the red on the campy chainwheels, the red on the newton stem, red look cx6s, etc. I think the red bar tape may be over the top... might have to tone it down a pinch with black.

This bike has a partial "team" decal set, sans the lower downtube decals. I also went sans headtube badge, and opted for a matching red 'S' decal. Basically, its a USPS masters bike, w/o the USPS decals.

As for the Zipp 404's... these came from my previous legend, (along with the saddle, stem, and bars). They are what you would expect... fast, light, they feel like wings under your feet. You'll know what I mean if you were to ever swap these out with a set of Ksyrium's. You can feel a huge difference. But with that, you get the issues with tubs. I am likely holding onto these wheels for race only this year.

Take your hands off the bars in a crosswind, and you'll eat some pavement. Other than that, they rock. I purchased some extra decals sets from Zipp, figuring they would look better with the red Serotta decals. On the frost white Legend, They looked better sans decals .

I threw a set of Ksyrium SLs on the bike, and I could not take the way they looked against the polished frame. This frame screams for a set of black wheels. I will likely go with a set of Nucleons for everyday riding, and the Zipps will come out on race days... actually, more likely on my Cad7.

Gladiators among mere Serotta Fit Specialists. Mike and Dean really stand out in what they do. Dean, of course, stands a little taller than most :b
