I finally had to realize that Mom & Dad forgot to give me genes for decent teeth and finally went the denture route.

My problem when riding is not keeping them in my mouth but how to keep some moisture in my mouth! I dry out in about 3 blocks so I have to plan more water stops. (9-20% humidity this time of year is a factor),

Anyone else suffer this issue and how did you solve it? Thanks for any advise.

Jim

This could have gone in the "Old" thread but I'm just a 60year old kid!

Been on here since 2002 and I've never seen this question! Not sure how to help, but you get the originality award! :p

I too got bad teeth genes, and being only 31 in a month, I wish I could say dentures were far away as they were for you.

I suffer from dry mouth, and to compound the problem, I picked up the habit of breathing through my mouth (nasal cavity was blocked for too long with abnormal tissue growth - removed following job and health insurance). I now chew gum, Orbit, and typically I just leave it in my mouth. For whatever reason, the fact it is in the mouth makes my digestive system generate saliva.

It may work for you ... I hope it does.
