I'm going to be selling a 2 year old Salsa Las Cruces with King headset shortly. Disc & canti compatible. No canti studs currently installed though. Any idea what a fair asking price would be for this rig? It's in good condition with just the usually marks / wear & tear from use. Has about 7000 km on it and always stored indoors. Used primarily as a commuter and part time winter bike. Well looked after. Opinions appreciated!! TIA!

It's only $450 new these days. So figure about half of that plus going rate on the used CK headset.

Where is the Las Cruces going for $450?? Sure that isn't the La Cruz? The Las Cruces is the Scandium bike whereas the La Cruz has a OX Platinum main triangle / cro-moly seat & chainstays.

last year I paid $600 for a used f/f/seatpost (I think I over paid a bit)... Has the steerer tube been cut? That may make a difference....

Yes - steerer tube has been cut unfortunately. I'm thinking of asking in the $450-475 range which I think is quite fair. Thanks for the comment.

I think that's a great deal! Just make sure the buyer understand Salsa's strange sizing numbers... ;)

Good Luck!

I think this is fair for a high-quality used AL frameset in very good to excellent condition.
