What year did Serotta offer this Fork? Was this a Reynolds fork?

IIRC the F2 was a Reynolds fork built to Serotta's specifications. I the F2 on 2 bikes and it's a great fork. A bit stiffer than an Ouzo Pro.

Yep, I have one on my Ti and it is a wonderful ride. It is stiffer by I think about 20% than the 2nd generation Ouzo,

Does anyone know the year these were produced?

I have 2002 catalog that shows both the F1 and the F2 (as well as lugged steel) being offered....I would guess that is the "transition" year.

I got my Legend in 2004 and the F2 and Ouzo pro (O2) were the fork options.

IIRC -

The F1Ti was a Ti crown reinforced fork with a Ti steer tube that was produced in only limited numbers and for a short run (maybe 2 years). It was supposed to be lighter and a little stiffer than the F1 which had a steel crown reinforcement and steer tube.

I had never heard of an F2TiIT.

What were the differences between the F2 and the O2. I have always been kind of fuzzy on the history of the forks.

I'm not an expert, but as I understand, the O2 was basically a rebadged Ouzo Pro. However, the F2 has Ti dropouts and a different carbon layup to make it stiffer than the Ouzo Pro.

I believe Bruce is correct.

2002 was the transition year from F1 to F2.

I had choice of both, and picked the F1.

I never heard of a Ti F2, only a Ti F1.

F2IT is on my Founders Ottrott. So around 2002 is the transition to F2 from F1. The company that was making the F1 for Serotta started having problems and delivery became sporadic - that is when the F2 was designed. THe O2 was as Keith said, and was a less expensive fork than F2.
