I am so ready for my winter commute. I got rid of my single speed cross bike/commuter bike, will ride my ti cx bike and throw it in the office after wiping it down.

Second set of wheels, with studs just for the snowy days.

Just need to decide between race blades or speedez fenders.

Wow, it's nice I don't have to worry about studs on my tires, I'm mainly looking into clothing for 40-50* weather in the morning, 65* in the evening, and getting my fenders on to help with puddles.

Looks great Joe, I use the Nokian's but those Schwalbe's are super...What are you doing for feet and hands?

so how do you like the disk brake in the winter? I have one on my Trek and I find the combination of salt, sand and water on some of those vicious days can really do a number to the rear pads.

Oh I have a whole system... Above 25 Craft lobster claws:

Below 25 REI Primaloft mitts:

On my feet Shimano SH-MW02 winter shoes:

And if its crazy ass cold, I'll add some Sidetrak booties from Excel:

This will be the first year with discs on my commuter, but my canti brake pads would get ruined in those sandy, salty wet conditions too, and make the bike filthy with brake dust. So at least this should be less messy.
