Hey all,

Looking for the following:

1. Jtek Shiftmate #2 (want to match Campy 10 to Shimano 9 drivetrain)
2. Compact (110 bcd) double crankset +- bottom bracket. I'm not too worried about the rings since I'll probably replace them.

Looking for inexpensive for #2, let me know what you got. Thanks!

Prefer 172.5. This all hinges on getting a Jtek too!

You don't need the jtek adapter to run Campy 10 shifters with Shimano 9 speed drive train. Use the hubbub method of attaching the cable to the rear derailleur. The spacing is perfect. I have over 10,000 miles of flawless rear shifting with this approach. Your lbs will know how to set this up, or you can search it out online.

Use the hubbub method of attaching the cable to the rear derailleur.

I haven't tried this yet myself, but have bookmarked the link for a future build which will involve Campy 10 and Shimano 9.

My LBS (Velotech in Palo Alto) said he had mixed results with the Hubbub method. I figure if I can't find a Jtek I'll give it a try.

I think I have the Jtek you're looking for. Let me look.

FYI, I just noticed this morning that Shiftmates are available again. They're being sold via eBay, but don't be put off by the fact the seller has zero feedback, that's just Jay's son taking over the operations.

I have a Shiftmate for Shimano shifters and Campy drivetrain if anyone wants it. I don't remember if these can be used the other way 'round. Unused and I have no need for it.
