Is anyone using the Exposure Lights Red Eye tail light?

How are you mounting it?

The criticism is that it is mounts flat against the seat post so it is angled downward.

Would the Dinotte tail light mount work?

Any other mounts that would work?

I'm not sure that for a light such as this, a little downward angle is a bad thing. I know for for my Dinotte tail light it's not.

See examples here: http://www.dinottelighting.com/Photography.htm

That big pool of red light on the ground seems to help drivers give plenty of space, and the light itself is still very visible from quite a ways back.

go DiNotte and never look back ....

problem is, what if you have a bag in the back ...

I am so happy I ordered my Legend with Rack mounts ....

pointing down is not bad. especially at night.

I had a Pizza (half full) thrown at me in front of the Serotta factory.
Guess he (peekup truck) did not like my flashing DiNotte. ;)

I mounted it on a bracket with 2 small zip ties that allows me to rotate it up or down. Since it doesn't flash I ended up using it on the seat stay as a 2nd light.I probably have a bracket that I could cobble together for you if you want.NateM nhm@cbsnews.com

Good thought. I have a lot of those brackets because I bought cheap tail lights for two bikes so I would not have to move lights between bikes. Since I am no longer keeping two bikes outfitted I could use one of the extras. Thanks.
