55 seconds is a nice margin.

I can't believe Longo could not cut another 20 seconds to get a top 5 finish. She must really be slowing down. If she is in the road race ( the French always try to keep her off the team) she might not win, but she will attack and put the hurt on some of the young riders.

That is a pretty big winning margin, 55 seconds is a 2.5% improvement over second. Big :hello:

Remarkable that a 50 year old cyclist could finish in 10th place. Much more remarkable is that our own Karin Kirk did not finish in the top 20. :)

The winning average speed was 45.379 km/h which is equivalent to 28.19 m/h. That is quite impressive, to say the least, no matter the terrain.
