I am about ready to order the Ritchey new 110 bcd cranks and before I do I was wondering if there are any other brands that make cranks with Shimano Octalink compatability, yes I am too lazy to remove the BB from my wife's Legend. Besides Ritchey tell's me these canks will sell for $ 199.00 with rings and that sounds really good to my wallet. Any other suggestions before I plunk down the cash. Also can you buy Ritchey Cranks from mail order houses, my guess is Excel will have them first.

I think the FSA compact roads are 110.

Smiley,

Where are your ordering these from? The last time I checked Ritchey's wesite, these were still a "future release" product.

I'm intrigued by the the idea of a 50-34 crankset, but I'll have to replace my bb and both deraileurs also, since I'm running an Ultegra triple right now...:(

David ,they will be available Feb 2004 and my guess is I will order from Excel or my local LBS.

Also Bruce , on the FSA'a I thought thouse were Cross gearing of 48/38 , am I wrong on that one.

FSA Compact Road comes as a 50/34. Same spider, different gears.
