I know their was a thread a few weeks back concerning classic bend bars and it looks like Bontrager is offering them in Oversized bars. They have updated their web site in on the Race Lite OS bars they state they can be had in classic bend. I though i would pass this along to everybody.

hey big D, thanks for the post and the "discovery"! i wonder if this new bar is in response to the discovery channel team riding bontrager bars and the riders input? i like the very flat ramp and the long flat drop. worth exploring. thanks again for your help in my quest for the ideal bar.

If you want a deep-drop classic bar, Deda 215's are the modern equivalent to Cinelli 66's.

Where can one get the round Deda bars? I have not seen them anywhere online. Just rode my Cinelli 66-42s today. They are far superior to my TEN TIMES MORE EXPENSIVE Modolo carbon Curvissimas......

saab--check out cbike.com. both 215s and newtons are nice and round.

Tonight I got to look through a QBP catalogue. Actually there are a number of round bars out there. I guess you just got to know where to look.

With the deep drop those look just like my Cinelli 66-42s. Now all that needs to happen is for someone to come out with a 65-like handlebar which will accept the modern Campagnolo Ergo levers.......

The 65s are the best ever bars. 66s are a close 2nd. ITM Milleniums are my favorite ergo style bars.

Two of my "modern" bikes I had built for quill stems, Cinelli stem and 64 bars. I like 'em, but I found the Campy ergo levers don't make a flat enough position unless they are jacked up high, leaving them to flair out a bit.

Anyone find a bar with similuar dimensions as the 64 bars, that better accomadate the modern Campy levers?
