LBS are recommending this in place of record 10 speed .
Supposingly "lighter" which is not my greatest concern.
Do they shift as well as chorus/record 10 speed and last?

I have a Campy KCNC Cassette, I think its AL. Looks nice, is real real light weight but it is no Campy... Shifting is loud and not so smooth. I have also broken the tops off of two teeth, although this might have of happen when I had a bent chain for awhile. It will work but I would go with Campy 1st, unless your a weight weenie...

Yes he did. Sorry for the overly subtle trashing of what I consider to be crap.

I think everyone got the "noisy as hell."
I think Dustin's comment "recommending it? seriously?" relates to your original post and the LBS recommending this cassette.

Affirmative.
they are pushing it (12-26) as what they can get quickly.. much better than the cheaper miche they said and with a KMC or was it YBA chain would supposingly be as good as campy record.
they showed me a shimano set up which seemed to shift pretty decently with
maybe a tinge of chain clatter. Of course this was not under load and new(ish).
