Ive got a set of campy 10 speed ergos that were lifted from a smaller bike and most likely the cables arevtoo short , got a spare set of shimano cables lying around. will they work?

Conversely can shimano shifters use campy cables?

Shimano cable heads are too large to fit into an Campy shifter, but they can be ground down. The opposite should work.
