Hilly Hundred

How many forumites are doing the Hilly Hundred this year? Any interest in a Serotta forumites group?

I did the first day in 1986 and 1987 and am considering doing it this year.

A tip from a former hoosier of 40 years having ridden the hilly for many years.

Go early and leave with the lead group, or go late - like noon.

There are over 5000 people on this ride (probably a lot more because many still don't register), and over half shouldn't be there.

I have done it at all times of the day and found that leaving at noon avoided all the congestion and people not prepared for the ride. It still gave us the option of having sag support. It's often warmer as well with temps in mid October mornings being quite chilly.
