i'm a big boy.
brothers say fat. moms say husky. wives say big-boned.

fact is, i can't seem to find a jersey that fits right. i need an XL in almost all brands in order to accommodate my broad shoulders and avoid tension across my back when i'm extended on the hoods. that's not to mention the tightness across my belly.

of course, jerseys in XL are too long. so then i've got jersey hanging halfway down my butt and bunching in the front.

i have been able to find a couple jerseys that fit better than most, but they're not exactly good quality and i would hesitate to buy them again.

any recommendations?

If you aren't satisfied, they will take anything back. They even make custom sizes!

I'm "of a larger persuasion", and very happy with everything from them - Don

Seriously, the best option is becoming a smaller boy.

I have the same problem. I need to buy XL or XXL for my gut and chest, but they hang loose or too low on my hips. I had a tailor sew some elastic in the bottom edge of the jerseys. Holds it tighter to my waist and it doesn't sag down over my butt any more.

Whether 6'4" and 180 lbs.
Or 6'4" and 210 lbs...
Chances are yer' wearing XL either way.

I'm at the other end of the bell curve with the same problem - I feel your pain. I'm cyclist shaped - thin waiste, large quads, big rib cage, scrawny arms. All the jerseys we sell are "club cut" which means they don't fit me.

Stop trying to pull the jersey over your large quads. You're probably stretching it out.
