. . . across the country, I've finally located the Holy Grail of Serotta Pete memorabilia . . . an actual photograph of Pete on his FIRST bike!

Note the immaculate white paint job on the bike and the stylish haircut which finally does prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Pete DID indeed have hair at some vague time in the distant past. :p

Appreciate all the wonderful notes and wishes. I am up in Vermont/NH with Smiley, Rapid Tour, Zap, and a whole group of very nice folks.

AND YES THEY HAVE RED HERE!!!!!

It is hot and has broken the record since they started recording temp _ BUT STILL COOLER THAN RALEIGH. :)

Smiley is going to try to make you believe that 23 mm tires and carbon frames are not comfortable or dependable - - DO NOT BELIEVE HIM OR THE PICTURES OF the flat I did not have.....

Got myself an HSG for my birthday from me to me....Wonderfui ride and I now have 2 bikes... :)

Smiley is buying the red tonight___ Hope he knows I will be thirsty!!!
