heads up??

I have been looking for a Serotta heads-up head tube extension. I cannot find one anywhere( bike shop, order, classifieds). I currently have a quil stem adaptor that is just heavy. Heads-up will solve my problem and will be able to use this carbon fork boxed up in my closet. :crap:

It has taken forever to re-stock this part.

I do not understand what has taken so long.

There have been numerous requests, and it has been out-of-stock for quite some time.

It works very well and looks fine.

If you are not locked on Serotta I am pretty sure "Problem Solvers" brand makes something similar....anyone got a QBP catalogue? I could be wrong.

There is a minimum 6 month lead time when ordering Ti stock. We then need the time to machine the parts.
We are working on a suitable replacement that will be more cost-effective and can be offered in a more reasonable time-frame.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I will try the "problem solver" route and see what Serotta comes up with in the mean time too.
