I've been using a 23mm tire with my F1 fork. Would a 25mm tire work? If so, what advantage is there to using the slightly larger size? Thanks.

a 700x25mm Conti Ultragatorskin will just clear an F1. It rides a bit softer and is very flat-resistant.

Performance Forte 700x26 work, but pull off the hairs* first or they'll rub off paint.

The advantage is being able to run lower pressure without increasing the risk of pinch flats giving a better ride... or fewer pinch flats for the same pressure.

Orin.

*3mm or so long 1mm or so diameter protrusions, presumably from the where the rubber is injected into the mold.

I have used 25 mm Grand Prix 3000 on my old F1.
No problem in clearance.
They are a bit heavier, and I think a bit slower.
Nice rode, though.
