Pink glasses? yup...thats LH. Great racer and really nice person!! My daughter Madeline and I went out in the pouring rain to watch the Amgen ToC stage 1 start in Davis and then drove to the still raining finish in Santa Rosa. Ran into Liz in the FSA tent. Surprised to see her and chatted mainly about her health - she was healing up from her crash. Two months later we see her and the team again at Sea Otter...and Liz remembers meeting Maddie. Talk about an exciting moment for a kid!! Best I could do is say I bought a bike from her coach once....

Anyone notice she raced the women's giro under a different team? not sure what that was all about?

Maddies got a VDK sticker on her juliana and her next jersey will be VDK...size XS of course.

she and all vdk super nice people. her dad is also super nice talked to him for a while in philly. i ask vdk what was up with liz loner for giro. to bad it didnt get better coverage.
