I will be working in Portland (OR) the next couple of weeks. My regular cycling shoes (DMTs) are shot and I thought I could kill some time shopping for new shoes. Do any of you PDXers have a favorite shoe guru. I think I could learn something about proper shoe fit if I get hooked up with the right person. No complaints with the DMTs but maybe something will work better.
Thanks,
duke

I hear that, Scott Peterson is supposed to be fit guru. I heard about him when I lived all the way in Missouri years ago. I wonder if he is as good as everyone says.

If you're just looking for a set of shoes, I'd go to any Bike Gallery as they have a good selection, and generally good staff. But, if you want to get a real bike fit, Michael Silvester was the best around. (http://bicyclefittingservices.com/)

Enjoy your time in Portland.
