On One - "Il Pompino"

I have seen one of these around town that looks pretty cool...and am tempted to get set up on one...

Has anyone heard of this company or have anecdotes to tell?

You see and hear quite a lot about them in the UK, not surprisingly since they are marketed from the UK (but made?). Anyway, the singlespeed/fixie crowd seem to say good things about them, not least because they like the risque name - "Il Pompino" is not, apparently, Italian for "firefighter" but rather relates to an act close to but not (according to a former President of yours)involving sexual relations.
