how would you finish this thought, "life is a..."?
as in, life is a war, or life is a game, or life is a joke, or life is a gift, or life is a mystery.
i encourage you to answer it, not as you think you should answer, but as you really see it and feel it. i did this yesterday and my real answer was illuminating.
in your heart of hearts, for you, life is a....

Life is...intention, accompanied by pace.
Either that or it's the beautiful infinity between pure silence and impure dialogue.

Life is a cult of personality, a dualistic fetish that taunts and teases as if in some ecstatic state of monistic consciousness every answer will be tasted like salt on the lips of that one perfect kiss.

Life is: a never ending struggle to find peace within and hopefully have many happy moments along the way (I do have many).

Life is the continual accumulation of experiences that constantly change your perspectives and manner of interaction. Hopefully this accumulation produces insight with an increased ability to interact in a more meaningful, satisfying, and productive way.

OMG I was eating pizza as I read your post. :)
Life is a garden.
There are bad apples. There are weeds, thorns and tomato hornworms.
But right beside that there are amazing little treasures just waiting to be appreciated and enjoyed.
Some parts of the garden you plan, orchestrate and work on; however a lot of things happen to your garden that you can't control, both negative and positive.
Some folks garden to score the perfect ripe tomato.
Others garden just because they like being out there in the thick of it.

For me.... "Life is a roller coaster"
It has its ups and downs and occassionally makes you want to puke, but for some reason you keep getting back on the ride because overall, it's a blast!!

I know this is not a pizza thread. My most memorable pizzas were at the rathskellar (sp?) in Chapel Hill and Gino's in Chicago.
Other than that...life is about having good memories of yesterday and can't waits for tomorrow.
