From what I saw there was very little battling being done.
Contador beat Lance in the Prologue. 1-0

Lance got in the Columbia HTC breakaway, Alberto didn't. 1-1

Alberto blasted Lance up the very first climb they came to. 2-1

Alberto catergorically said he wouldn't attack if Lance tried to breakaway in the next climb....Lance didn't (couldn't)? 3-1

Alberto takes it easy up to Verbier knowing he has a way to go and still puts 1:30m into Lance. 4-1 GAME OVER. THANK YOU FOR PLAYING.

I think Lance still has a trick up his sleeve and the man is a legend for even showing up, so lets cut him some slack, but Alberto has the measure of him and pretty much always did this Tour. IMHO.
