I have one of their inexpensive home floor pumps, a PFP-3, that developed a crack in the plastic base, rendering it useless.

A short, polite e-mail to Park Headquarters generated a kind offer of a replacement base, gratis. Amazing that Park even has parts for such an inexpensive unit, and nice to not have to play 20 questions to get support. Would have neither parts nor support on this level of product. The new base showed up yesterday afternoon, and 5 minutes later, the pump is back in action, instead of heading towards the landfill.

Sad that such simple, straightforward transactions seem to be a lost art, but refreshing to see some still understand. I don't have any connection other than being a satisfied customer.

Makes me want to go out a seal the deal on the professional truing stand I've been eyeballing.

In the not too distant past, I had a similar transaction with Planet Bike, regarding a SuperFlash unit that didn't like to work after a light rain.
