Where to watch Stage 16 TDF?

A good buddy just informed me that he is a bum and spending 6 weeks in Torino, Italy, and has plans to attend Stage 16. His question, is where should he be - summit of either Col du Grand-Saint-Bernard, Col du Petit-Saint-Bernard, or at the finish - or somewhere in between?

Any one have any good insight?

"Typically"... the fireworks occur near the summit of the last big climb of the day. However, this is another stage that does not finish at the summit of the last climb. This gives the chasing groups time to catch on the descent. It could be , yet again, another day that favors a long breakaway attempt.

A good place to be would be near the summit on the last climb, the Petit. However, getting up there might be difficult, unless you go a couple of days prior. Seeing the finish IN town might be just as exciting, and maybe a whole lot easier to get to.
