Just learned that my buddy John aka "BumperJohn" is in the batters box and I am "On Deck" in baseball speak for the Bedford new build. I will finish up John's fit this weekend and then I will be shipping his fenders along with my new fenders and a wheelset that Jeremy built for both mine and John's bikes so Kelly has all the parts to make it magical. Can't wait and can't wait to see what Keith Andersons paint job looks like :)

Bedford Tourer with Berthoud Fenders 40 mm wide, Alchemy wheel build using Campy Silver Montreal rims and Schwabe marathon 32 mm wide tires...... Sweeet

Oh yeah least I forget many silver parts and bits as I could find

. . . on the SMBA MTB trails on north side Saratoga.

Do you think he will mind if he gets it with just a *few* dings in the fenders?

I'm not often jealous of people's rides.

Swoop's got one that I wwwwwwannna jack.
There's a SpeedVagen or 2 that I also wanna rockkkkkk.
I also get a b0^3r when I see those all black Time framesets

Otherwise I'm just not into other people's bikes.

Your frame is #4 on the "Tizzle wants to steal and then ride your bike" list.

Ray - It's not anything new that I'm aware of. It kind of looks like the steel fork Zanc did for my single speed cross bike he built me a while back.

FA - not posted to make anyone jealous, just to show what Kelly can do.

Smiley -

The bike will be built and ready to ride when I pick it up.

I should have a pretty good ride report by the weekend as I am going to NH to climb the Kankamaugus Highway with it next weekend if all goes according to plan.

What I don't want to do is to turn this into a "commercial".

Most of you know I have 4 Serottas and have known Kelly a long time.

Unfortunatley, none of my Serottas is a CSI.

Now I've got my steel ride.

Let me name your Serotta rides Bruce,
Ti Cross fit by Paul Levine
Concours Ti which is the rig I met you riding at the Open House #1
Ottrott which you bought after much deliberation after the Concourse Ti
MeiVici which was your retirement gift to yourself

And now the Steel Bedford, a very nice stable of bikes and some would say the Cream du la Cream

I forget about your TT rig and I think you got a Zank in there somewhere and maybe another Cross bike you gave to your son somewhere along the line
