The color of flags out on my street

The smell of the earth as new crops are being irrigated, while a tractor is turning under harvested crops in the next field.

An old Chrysler minivan setting derelict with flat tires next to a farmhouse.

A friendly couple on a tandem decked out with flags.

A carload of teenage girls waving at me as they head to our local waterslide with high hopes for the day.
Followed closely by:
A truckload of teenage boys yelling at me as they head to the same waterslide with higher hopes for the day.

A Golden Eagle screeching from a tree near the road.

Rolling hills and oak groves.

A First Division Marines placard out on display at a ranch owned by a man who served next to my uncle in the Pacific in WWII.

A Model A Ford with two flags on it’s fenders heading back from a parade.

A small town park filling up with people anxiously awaiting a holiday concert.

My nice home with a flag out front and a loving family and a cool drink within.

All bits of my America. A pretty good place to be.

Happy July 4th to all

Sounds like you had a joyful, scenic ride. Glad you enjoyed it.

Just got back from Fireworks in Philly tonight with Sheryl Crow. I'll post pictures later. Great nige, 75 degrees and cool breeze. Not bad for the normally humid, stuffy Philly Julys.

Take care,

Bob

Ya think she watches the Tour? Seems like it would be hard to become disinterested after being that close to it. Who knows...........
