Long story short, IF you are a competitive racer, think about adding some calcium, weight training and running to your routine.
I think the study is flawed. Perhaps people with low bone density SELECT cycling, because other sports are too rough on them. On top of that, the benefits of fitness MAY outweigh the risks of low bone density...
