Sidi Ergo 2 Vernice - stay cleaner longer?

Anyone have any longterm riding in the vernice sidis? I am wondering if the shiny vernice lorica stands up to discoloration from the elements better than the regular 2008 spec lorica.

I imagine the shiny patent leather look will get scratched up and look uglier than the real thing that you can use shoe polish on? JMO

sidi told mey went to vernice because the finish on the 2008 steel lux and white rubbed off too easily.

It does last better...

Of course scratches etc will show, but not more than other white.

I think the Vernice cleans easier and holds it's new color longer.
