I'm actually planning to try my hand at building a frame in the near future. I already have most of the equipment needed (including torch) and I'm mainly a lurker on the Frame Builders forum picking up information and tips on the topic. Actually there are a number of well known builders who frequent that forum and share their wealth of knowledge. Very cool.

built his own frame once. It ended up being better as a shark cage than a bike. :D
