Della Santa with Dedacciai zero tubing 54 c-c, 55 tt and electronic scale weight of 5.2#. Will be buit up with Record-10 of course. Pix DO NOT do the frameset any justice.

So where does one get to call themselves BigDaddy and ride such a small frame, I am confused Mr BDSmooth. Inquring minds want to know since you have the best handle on the forum.

"Big" does not necessarily have to be equated to height or weight, if you know what I mean ;-)

Nice! I have a 2001 DS of Zero Uno that I bought used. It looks like the same frame, but I have a flat fok crown. I really like your color combination... Add some yellow bar tape and you're there. (I'd send the fork back and have the steerer tube threaded, but I'm not an aheadset fan... purely asthetics). I know what you mean about pictures not doing it justice, it is a work of art. I know you'll love the ride, it'll ruin you for everything else.

now that's a nice looking frame. have you got a closeup of the HT? looks like the HT itself extends beyond and separate from, the top HT lug-never saw that before.

I LOVE it!!! Mucho kudos. More photos, more detailed photos. I love bike porn, and this is mostly surely that to the max. Dave N.

That is a *very* nice looking frame. Look forward to seeing pics of it when it's built up.

It looks like the seat stays are beefier and brazed fastback-style into the seat lug. Is this Roland's standard build now? He used to use 14mm double tapered seat stays which I didn't like the appearance of. My DS was built with 16mm seat stays and Masi-style caps. - some of his old Carlsbad stock. And the curve he puts on a DS fork is graceful art.

Best of luck with your DS. As there was a thread on BB heights earlier this week, this bike gets you into the long-low club. A great ride!

I had Roland extend the HT to mimic my Pegoretti. I'd rather have the extension than 3 cms of spacers.

I do have one question for you and wanted to find out what the geometry specs are for this frameset.

54 ST, 55 TT, 4.5 rake, 15.3 setback, 73.5 STA frame 3.7+# fork 1.4+#--5.2# total frameset weight per electronic scale. With tubbies and Record-10 I'm expecting 18-18.5# total bike weight. Not bad for lugged steel!

great bike! do you happen to know the chainstay length, bb-drop, and head tube angle?

also, could you describe the fitting process with Roland? Is it the telephone/email in your measurements, have a conversation type, or does he watch you ride or sit you on a sizing cycle in person?
